Travel East on East Sky Harbor Boulevard toward rental cars. Take the AZ-202 Loop East ramp toward Tempe. Merge onto AZ-202 Loop East. Take Exit 22 (Recker Road) and go right (South) to McKellips Road. Turn left onto McKellips Road and travel 0.5 mile. Westgate Painted Mountain Country Club will be on your left-hand side past the golf course entrance.

Take I-10 West and exit onto U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway). At Exit 186, bear right onto the ramp (Higley Road). Turn left onto South Higley Road. Turn right onto East McKellips Road. Westgate Painted Mountain Country Club will be on your left-hand side past the golf course entrance.

From Los Angeles:
Take I-10 East. Bear left onto the State Road 202 Loop HOV Lane. The road name changes to State Road 202 Loop. Exit at Recker Road (Exit 22) and turn right (South) to McKellips Road and turn left (East). Westgate Painted Mountain Country Club will be on your left-hand side.

• FBR Open, PGA Golf Tournament
  One of the most popular stops on the PGA Tour, the FBR Open (formerly known as the Arizona Open) attracts some of the top professional golfers in the world. The FBR Open takes place at the renowned Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale, where the beauty of the McDowell Mountains serve as a backdrop to the lush course.

• Arizona Renaissance Festival & Artisan Marketplace
  A colorful medieval amusement park that features 12 stages of music and comedy, arts and crafts faire, food and drink, and jousting tournaments, the Arizona Renaissance Festival is held on weekends from early February through late March.

• Cactus League Spring Training Baseball
  The Cactus League has been entertaining Major League Baseball fans for more than 50 years in Arizona. Nine of the 12 teams in the Cactus League train in the Mesa-Phoenix area.

May

• Cinco de Mayo Fiesta
  The annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta features fun for the entire family, including traditional and contemporary Mexican music and dance, as well as arts and crafts, children's activities, a carnival and food. Contests are also held for Mesa's best salsa and homemade pinatas.

• Independence Day Celebration
  Presented by the City of Mesa, the Independence Day Celebration features live entertainment, children's activities and fireworks.
